● ►en n. m. ►WARE Classe de logiciels dont l'objectif est non plus de traiter de l'information, mais de la gérer globalement, tellement les quantités sont de plus en plus importantes. Le logiciel habituel traite l'information avec des routines complexes et nombreuses, l'infoware lui, la manipule selon des algorithmes simples et peu nombreux. Exemple d'infoware selon l'université du Colorado: le navigateur web.
