● ►en sg. m. ►CHAR Universal Character Set. jeu de caractères universel, défini par la norme ISO 10646, aussi connue sous le nom d'Unicode (plus précisément, Unicode, c'est l'UCS-2 niveau 3). Existe en trois niveaux de complexité croissante, tous les systèmes ne pouvant pas forcément supporter la totalité des caractères définis.
