● ►en np. pl. ►UNIX Ensemble d'utilitaires de communication, basés sur le protocole TCP/IP. Leurs noms commencent en général par "remote" (i.e. à distance), d'où le "r". Exemples: rlogin, rcp, rcmd. Provenant d'une époque où la sécurité avait peu d'importance sur le Réseau, ces programmes ont très mauvaise réputation de ce point de vue, et sont donc à éviter.
